13.1 Crossfit Open Update
Well I tried out 13.1 again…
Well really the whole gym tried out 13.1 again atleast most of our advanced athletes did….
Most people didn’t beat there last score….
But manged to jump from 161 to 174!!! I paced my burpee’s better this time around
Not bad for a Intern and my first time doing the open! Iwas more then please after I finally got up off the floor. It landed me 36th in the Mid Atlantic, I even beat Games people like Nate Schrader and Chris Spealler by 1…Count it
It was a good day for the gym and the Tier 1 Barbell side of the house!!
anyway it also put our team at 16th! Keeping it going

Whats up
Spring Break is here….
Which boils down to some pretty sweet training and more post lol
Anyway, So the open is here and I’m doing it as well as training for olympic lifting college nationals this april…so this should be a joy for my body…CT approach to over training…
So far I did 13.1 last night…alot of you know what it is so I wont explain but I got 161…..I hope to do it Sunday and get to the 170 range and try to get some points sense this is acutally something i’m kind of good at…if my back holds up
Today at practice we maxed out on snatch….doing it again with THE GLENN PENDLAY tomorrow exciting…so will see how it goes….
Mean while here is a lift from my meet, snatch opener 100kg-220 pounds felt good about it so I went power snatch
